Experienced Supervisors Committed to Helping Counselors in All Stages of Professional Development
Cornerstone has five counselors who hold the Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor credential (LCMHCS): Shirley B. Huffman, PhD, NCC, LCMHCS; Judith B. Stewart, MA, LCMHCS; Debra D. Rhodus, MA, LCMHCS; Josh Alvarado, MA, LCMHCS; and Melissa Pitts, MA, LCMHCS. Each has met the requirements set by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors and is approved to supervise counselors working toward their LCMHC credential.
Our supervisors are committed to helping counselors in all stages of their professional development by providing individual, group and peer supervision. Cornerstone supervisors also provide consultation to agencies, organizations and institutions needing guidance in counseling and mental health issues.
