Ginny approaches counseling with a holistic perspective, recognizing that every individual is uniquely complex, with interconnected physical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs. She believes that true healing and personal growth occur when all aspects of a person’s well-being are acknowledged and addressed. Her counseling approach is rooted in Christian principles, offering clients a compassionate, faith-based framework to navigate life’s challenges.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic models, in addition to being a trauma informed and brainspotting practitioner, Ginny integrates Person-Centered Therapy, which emphasizes unconditional positive regard and the importance of a supportive therapeutic relationship, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, and Existential Therapy, which encourages self-awareness, personal responsibility, and finding meaning in life’s struggles. She tailors sessions to the unique needs of her clients, ensuring a personalized and effective approach to healing and growth.
Ginny works with both adolescents and adults, helping them navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and self-worth. She is committed to walking alongside her clients with empathy, encouragement, and the hope that lasting transformation is possible. By weaving biblical wisdom into her counseling practice, she helps clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their faith as they work toward emotional and spiritual well-being.
