My counseling approach is grounded in compassion, hope, and a commitment to healing. I integrate various evidence-based treatment modalities to tailor my work to the unique needs of each client. Drawing from Person-Centered, Attachment-Focused, Affective Neuroscience, Somatic/Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based therapies, I aim to meet clients where they are and guide them to what they need most.
I specialize in working with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and RAMCOA (Ritual Abuse, Mind Control, & Organized Abuse). I view dissociation as a vital survival tool that can become maladaptive over time. In my trauma work, I prioritize establishing both internal and external safety. I believe the therapeutic relationship is not just a space for skill-building or venting; it’s a healing environment where clients can explore new messages about their identity, worth, and value—messages rooted in the belief that they are seen, heard, and cared for.
Alongside this work, I am clinically trained to address childhood trauma, sexual abuse, developmental trauma, attachment issues, mood disorders, personality disorders, codependency, suicidality, anxiety, and depression. I work with clients aged 13 and up, with a focus on women. I also integrate art and experiential therapy techniques when appropriate. While my Christian faith influences my worldview, I only incorporate spirituality if requested by the client, always with sensitivity to religious trauma and the damage it can cause.
