The Institute
The Institute is the educating and training division of Cornerstone. We believe that theology and psychology are powerful partners when psychology compliments a Christian worldview. The Institute provides internships for counseling students, supervision for licensure and continuing education for professional counselors. We also partner with other non-profit organizations to help meet their counseling and supervision needs. Cornerstone joins with churches and community organizations to provide education and enrichment in areas including but not limited to leadership, marriage, parenting, stress management, coping skills, and inner healing. We are always open to address developing needs and creating new programs. The Institute is under the direction of Dr. Shirley B. Huffman.
