I am a professional Christian counselor and have been with Cornerstone for more than 16 years. I am the Director of Clinical Services and the Institute, as well as a full-time counselor.  I have been a professional counselor for 24 years and an RN for more than 30 years.

It is a privilege to integrate a Christian worldview with empirically sound counseling practices. I see adults and adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups. I work with Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Trauma (EMDR), Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders, Marriage and Family and a spectrum of developmental issues across the lifespan. I integrate many different counseling theories and practices based on the need/s of the client/s. I approach clients holistically, believing that we are made in God’s image, and that we consist of body, soul and spirit. I appreciate a cognitive/behavioral approach that recognizes that how we think is critical to how we feel and behave and that emotions are an important component of cognitions. I believe that God desires to be intimately involved with His children and is a very present source for good change in our lives.

I enjoy being a wife, a mother of three grown daughters and three sons-in- law, and grandmother of six more than wonderful grandchildren. My husband and I are members of Corinth Reformed Church. I believe life is about relationships with God and others and so enjoy time spent with family and friends in work, play, and ministry.
