Deni believes in integrating different empirically sound counseling treatment theories in order to direct each client to what they need the most. She naturally draws from Person-Centered, Affective Neuroscience, Somatic/Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness-based therapies.

Her special interests include complex trauma, developmental trauma, attachment issues and dissociative disorders. Deni has been clinically trained and is equipped to address issues such as sexual abuse, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and mood disorders. She is currently accepting clients ages 13 and up, primarily women. She enjoys including art and experiential therapy techniques whenever appropriate. Her Christian faith is an important element of how she views the world and life, however, she will only incorporate spirituality when requested by the client. Deni is sensitive to understanding religious trauma and can help client’s maneuver through these difficult issues as well.
