Debra is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS), who has been on staff with Cornerstone Counseling Center since September, 2001. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, learning differences and abuse/neglect/tauma; teens and adults with mood disorders, career assessment and exploration, relationship difficulties and a history of trauma and abuse. She has been trained in the use of EMDR (Level II) and Trust Based Relational Intervetion (TBRI) for use with clients who have experienced trauma, abuse, PTSD and adoption. She has also received specialized training also from the American Association of Christian Counselors and has been a speaker for her state organization and local entities. She became a LPC-Supervisor for the purpose of supervising counseling graduates for their NC licensure in October 2011.
